The Lynmouth Floods
John peddar was his name
And fishing was his game
He saw the river rise
It wasn’t a real surprise
The river rose so high
The river was black like the sky
It carried on raining through the night
It was clear the people was losing the fight
The trees and boulders fell
You could not hear people yell
The hotel owners cry
Oh how they try
Tom Bevan really ought
Comment byTo go save his daughter
They’re stuck in the flood
The waters now like mud
Well done Oliver, I found it. Its good work.
Comment byThank you.
