Try to give more than one reason

For each reason, try to use connectives to extend your explaining.

E.g.  

this means, this is caused by, therefore, this is due to, because, also, and, so this,

however, BUT,,etc

You can even get higher grades by searching on the internet for other school’s fieldwork results and using these to help explain your results.

Research some climate information about the UK.

To do this…. find things such as….

1.   the average summer temperature

2.   the average annual rainfall

3.   the average sunshine hours in summer.  etc,

Using your Lake District Map…..

Make a Treasure Trail.

This will be a set of instructions to guide someone to Treasure somewhere on your map.

You will need to include…. Grid references, directions(N. NE. SSW etc)Distances travelled in km.Names of places and roads etc.

 Crack the Homework Code! Use your own OS Map……. Each of these 6-fig Grid Refs points to a word on your OS Map. The words that you find will make a sentence.When you have made the sentence you have cracked the code.Here is the code…..

1. Open up your free OS Map that I gave you before Christmas, you know, the orange coloured one.  Make sure that you can see the long blue lake called Windermere on it.  This means that you are looking at the right side.
